In the High Sierra Mountains & Desert of Central Nevada there lies the historic mining town of Tonopah.  With a population of just 3,500, Tonopah has been able to hold onto that “small town” friendliness known back in a past era.  On the south end of Main Street, one  will find Nye Regional Medical Center.  This is a small, rural, non-profit hospital and medical center that combines a personal family approach to health care with advanced medical technology.

NRMC is located approximately 200+ miles from the nearest major hospital and trauma center so the staff must be adept in a myriad of skills.  The facility encourages advanced certifications to continuously provide excellent health care to the wide area we serve.

Our facility is approximately 120 miles from Yosemite National Park & Mammoth Ski Resort.  We are halfway between Reno & Las Vegas on Highway 95.  The town is small, but the area we serve is vast.
